Every year WRoCAH offers up to 50 studentships for UK and European Union students undertaking PhD research at either University of Leeds, University of Sheffield and University of York. The WRoCAH competition Studentship provides £14,553 for the successful applicants.
Awards will comprise UK/EU fees at Research Council rates and, for eligible students, a maintenance grant (£14,553 in 2017/18).

Level and Area of Studies
PhD research in all subjects offered by host institution.
UK and EU students are welcome to apply.
Eligibility and Criteria
In order to be considered in this studentship, candidates must have applied for a place of study at the universities named above in an eligible School, Department or Centre before applying for AHRC Competition Studentship funding through WRoCAH.
The eligible candidates may apply directly to WRoCAH online and will be competing for WRoCAH AHRC Competition Studentship funding with all other applicants from across the three institutions and all subject areas.
